Who Owns the Velobet Sister Sites?

The Velobet sister sites used to be owned by a company called ‘OnyxioN B.V.‘ founded in 2019. If you look them up in the Cyprus business register, you’ll see that they changed the name during the company’s rapid growth in mid-2022.

Their name became Santeda International Limited. Santeda (Cyprus business registration number HE406761) holds the licenses for all Velobet sister sites. They use a 1668/JAZ license from Curaçao eGaming. It’s a weaker license, but at least it has online validation, which all four casinos passed as of late September 2023.

That company manages all of the financial transactions for the Velobet Casino sister sites. The company that operates the casinos is called Santeda International BV. 

Rather than put a flashy CEO as the public figurehead of the casino side of the operation, they put a business development manager as the Director of record. A quick lookup at the Curacao Chamber of Commerce shows Theoklis Andreou as the person in charge. Theoklis is the Head of Secretarial and fiduciary operations at MariCorp Cyprus Consultancy.

Is Velobet Safe and Legit?

As you already know, these will likely erode your entire bonus and most (if not all) of your initial deposit. It’s the ultimate ‘Are you feeling lucky’ offer, though it’s better than what we saw on Rolletto.

But the 150% New Sportsbook Deposit Match up to £1,000 offer is the real lowlight here. With a terrible 15x rollover requirement on deposit plus bonus, requiring a minimum of 3 events wagered each with odds of at least 1.3… this one should be a hard pass. Take advantage of the 3+1 Sportsbook Freebet bonus, though, as it’s essentially a freeroll for regular bettors.

Velobet Deposit Methods and Withdrawal Methods
